BAI believes in the importance of creating space for community members to connect and share ideas. To foster these connections, we host socials and workshops at key AI/ML conferences, so we can innovate responsibly and along the way, accelerate our technological and economic success.
Since our beginning, BAI has participated in socials, panels, and workshops at a growing list of premier conferences and events, including:
- The International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR)
- The Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR)
- The International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML)
- The Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS)
The Black in AI Workshop and Dinner
Co-located at the NeurIPS Conference, the annual Black in AI Workshop and Dinner is the flagship event that we collectively anticipate. It’s a chance to showcase the thought leadership and innovation within our community of AI practitioners. Participants submit papers on AI/ML topics; the top selections go on to present at the workshop. Those winners are recognized later at the Black in AI Dinner during NeurIPS and first-authors of accepted papers receive travel grants and access to sponsored professional development events. It’s a next-level investment in the BAI experience.
